Global Marine Group

Tekmar Energy won contracts from Global Marine Group and JDR Cables to supply TekLink cable protection systems and cable hang-off assemblies for the 600 MW Krieger's Flak offshore wind farm in the Baltic Sea.

Global Marine Group, an HC2 Holdings subsidiary, has agreed to acquire Fugro's trenching and cable lay services business for approximately $73 million, consisting of a 23.6% equity interest in Global Marine Holdings LLC valued at $65 million and a $7.5 million vendor loan. The acquisition was announced on October 12, 2017.

Global Marine Group (GMG) was awarded a contract by E.ON to install a fibre optic cable at the Rampion offshore wind farm off the coast of Sussex, UK. Installation is expected to be completed later in August 2017.
