Polymer Solutions Group

SGS, the world's leading inspection and testing company, acquired Polymer Solutions Incorporated, a polymer testing lab based in Christiansburg, Virginia. The company will operate as SGS – Polymer Solutions Incorporated.

Polymer Solutions has acquired Phoenix Chemical. The deal was announced on April 20, 2018.

Polymer Solutions Group (PSG), a portfolio company of Arsenal Capital Partners, acquired the assets of Phoenix Chemical Company, Inc., a specialty chemical manufacturer and distributor based in Calhoun, Georgia. The acquisition includes affiliated entities New South Distribution, Inc. and Olive Branch Distribution, Inc.

SASCO Chemical, a Polymer Solutions Group company, acquired the Wood Release Agent Product Line of Michelman, Inc. Michelman will continue manufacturing the products during the transition.
