Aclara

Hubbell Power Systems has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Aclara, an affiliate of Sun Capital Partners, for approximately $1.1 billion in an all-cash transaction. The deal is expected to close in Q1 2018.

Aclara acquired GE's majority equity position in General Electric Philippines Meter & Instrument Co., Inc. (GEPMICI), a joint venture with Manila Electric Company (Meralco). Aclara now owns a majority stake.
