Hubbell Power Systems

Grain Belt Express awarded nearly $1.7 billion in contracts to Quanta Services and Kiewit Energy Group to build an 800-mile HVDC transmission line across Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, and Indiana. An equipment supply agreement with Hubbell Power Systems was also included.

Hubbell Power Systems Inc. is investing $9 million and adding 73 jobs at its PenCell Plastics site in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, to produce utility enclosures.

Hubbell Power Systems has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Aclara, an affiliate of Sun Capital Partners, for approximately $1.1 billion in an all-cash transaction. The deal is expected to close in Q1 2018.

Hubbell Power Systems will invest $19 million to expand its two facilities in Leeds, Alabama, adding and upgrading equipment, with potential to create up to 70 jobs.
