TMG Automotive is investing €45.5 million in a new production unit in Famalicão, Portugal, to meet a new contract with Mercedes through 2026 and rising demand. The unit will start operating in January 2018, with capacity to produce 10 million meters per year.

TMG – Têxtil Manuel Gonçalves is investing EUR 45.5 million in a new production line for automotive textiles in Vila Nova de Famalicão, Portugal. The new line will produce five million square meters of coated textiles, creating at least 160 jobs, and is expected to start production in January 2018.
