Hoa Phat Group

Hoa Phat Group will invest an additional VND 3.4 trillion ($129.7 million) to expand its Dung Quat 2 iron and steel production complex in Quang Ngai, Vietnam, adding 500,000 tons per year of high-quality wire rod capacity, bringing total capacity to 6.1 million tons per year. The wire rod expansion is scheduled for completion in Q2 2028.

Hoa Phat announced it will invest US$130 million to build a new container factory near Ho Chi Minh City in Ba Ria-Vung Tau, with an initial capacity of 180,000-200,000 TEU per year, eventually reaching 500,000 TEU per year.

Hoa Binh Construction Group won a design-and-build contract for the Hoa Phat Dung Quat steel complex in Quang Ngai, Vietnam. The contract is valued at approximately VND 10,000 billion (about USD 440 million).
