Sekisui Diagnostics announced a £14.4 million investment to expand cGMP microbial fermentation and purification capacity at its Maidstone, Kent site, to be completed by the second half of 2022.

Sekisui Diagnostics PEI completed a $1.2 million expansion of its facility in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, adding jobs and increasing production capacity for in-vitro diagnostic kits. The expansion was inaugurated on 13 July 2018.

Sekisui Diagnostics completed a $6 million renovation at its Charlottetown facility, including two new automated packaging lines, a cold storage building, and a retrofit of manufacturing and office areas. The company also announced a further expansion involving a new building, with the provincial government investing and recouping costs through a lease.
