CRH plc has reached an agreement to acquire a portfolio of cement and readymixed concrete assets in Texas from Martin Marietta Materials for $2.1 billion. The assets include a 2.1mt capacity cement plant and 20 readymixed concrete plants.

KKR and XPV Water Partners announced the signing of a definitive agreement to sell Axius Water, a water quality solutions company, to CRH, a building materials company.

Martin Marietta Materials has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Bluegrass Materials Company for $1.625 billion in cash. Bluegrass is the largest privately-held pure-play aggregates company in the US, operating 23 active sites.
