KPS Capital Partners agreed to acquire substantially all assets of Briggs & Stratton, including foreign subsidiary equity, for about $550 million as Briggs & Stratton filed for Chapter 11, with KPS also providing $265 million in DIP financing.

AM General received a Department of Defense contract award for 103 armored M1152A1B2 HMMWVs with a value of approximately $14.8 million. The vehicles will be delivered in Q3-Q4 2019.

AM General received multiple delivery orders for HMMWV vehicles and parts totaling over $550 million from Afghanistan, Iraq, Ukraine, Jordan, Slovenia, Bahrain, Colombia, Bosnia and Kenya under a $2.2 billion FMS contract.

SF Motors, a subsidiary of Sokon Industry Group, will acquire AM General's commercial assembly plant in Indiana. SF Motors expects to retain all 430 current employees after retooling and will invest approximately $30 million in upgrades.
