Lemminkäinen Corporation

Lemminkäinen and Agnico Eagle Finland signed a contract for the expansion of the tunnel network at the Kittilä gold mine in Finland. The work involves deepening the main deposit to nearly 1,000 meters and building about 4 km of new tunnels, valued at approximately €10 million.

YIT Corporation and Lemminkäinen Corporation agreed to combine through a merger, creating a company with preliminary combined annual revenue of approximately EUR 3.4 billion and around 10,000 employees. Lemminkäinen will be merged into YIT.
