Hilti inaugurated the expansion of its plant in Matamoros, Mexico, with a $25 million investment. The expansion created 350 new jobs for producing construction tools.

The Hilti Group has completed the acquisition of the Norwegian Oglaend System Group, a manufacturer of cable management solutions and multidiscipline support systems, after antitrust approval. The acquisition was initially announced in June 2017.

Hilti Group has agreed to acquire Norwegian Oglaend System Group, a manufacturer of cable management solutions for the offshore industry. The purchase price is undisclosed and the transaction is subject to antitrust approval. Oglaend System employs about 400 people and will continue to operate from Klepp, Norway.
