Hitachi Construction Machinery Americas plans to expand its North American equipment lineup with three articulated dump truck models (ZD30, ZD45, ZD50) through a collaboration with Bell Equipment. Launch is scheduled for early summer 2027.
Yanmar announced a plant in the ORIGINS industrial park in north Chennai to make industrial diesel engines with 80,000 units annual capacity. Production is expected to start in 2020 and create up to 400 jobs.
