Teknos Oy will acquire Kiilto Oy's parquet lacquer business, including recipes, trade names, and customer contacts. The transfer of sales and logistics is set for November 1, 2018, and production transfer is planned for early 2019.

Manfield Chemical Holdings' indirect subsidiary Wantai signed a new Teknos agreement with Teknos Paint on 4 May 2017, effective from 1 January 2017 for three years, to supply liquid paint with annual sales cap of HKD 18.5 million.
