MicroVision

Scantinel acquired the assets of MicroVision to expand its long-range sensing in commercial vehicles and ADAS and accelerate commercial rollout of FMCW lidar solutions.

US-based MicroVision will acquire large parts of insolvent German automotive supplier Ibeo Automotive Systems GmbH, which employs over 400 people. The closing is expected in the first half of 2023, pending approval from the German Federal Ministry of Economics.

MicroVision Semiconductor has been selected by a prime government contractor to design a custom semiconductor solution for an advanced photonics application, including a liquid crystal on silicon spatial light modulator chip.

MicroVision signed a contract with a major technology company to develop a Laser Beam Scanning display system and produce components, with up to $24 million in fees including $14 million for development work spanning 21 months.
