Sateri

Sateri has started production of Finex, a new recycled fiber brand, and installed a new 20,000 t/y lyocell production line in collaboration with Asia Symbol. The lyocell line will supply textile and non-woven markets.

Sateri officially broke ground for a 12 billion yuan ($1.82 billion) project in Lianxi District, Jiujiang, China. The project will be executed in four phases to reach a total of 1 million tons of viscose fibre capacity.

Sateri signed an investment agreement to expand its viscose staple fiber capacity in Lianxi, Jiujiang, by up to one million tons per year, with an investment of 12 billion yuan ($1.75 billion). Construction of the first phase is scheduled to start in Q4 2017.
