Finproject

Versalis, the chemical company of Eni, signed the closing to acquire a 40% stake in Finproject from VEI Capital. The deal creates an Italian entity in the supply chain of polymers for special applications.

Versalis, Eni's chemical company, acquired a 40% stake in Finproject, an Italian leader in polymer compounding and ultralight products, from VEI Capital fund. The deal was announced on February 26, 2020.

Finproject has agreed to acquire Solvay's crosslinkable polyolefin compounds business in Roccabianca, Italy, which generated EUR 82 million in revenue in 2016. The transaction is expected to close in Q2 2017.
