Indorama Ventures acquires 74% stake in Egypt's Medco Plast
Indorama Ventures (IVL) acquired a 74% share of Egypt-based PET preforms maker Medco Plast, which has annual capacity of 70,000 metric tonnes. The deal was reported on 15 November 2018.

UTT de México inaugurates airbag fabric facility expansion in Puebla
UTT de México, a subsidiary of UTT, inaugurated an expansion of its airbag manufacturing facility in Huejotzingo, Puebla, Mexico. The overall investment since 2012 amounts to approximately 200 million pesos. The facility produces fabric for airbags using synthetic yarns and created 42 jobs.
