Futuris Group

Supreme Nonwovens Group, through its Thailand subsidiary Supreme Feltol Thailand, completed the acquisition of the automotive interior trims and NVH business of Futuris Automotive, a subsidiary of Adient Plc. The acquisition adds a second plant in Eastern Seaboard, Thailand, employing 230 staff.

Adient PLC signed a definitive agreement to acquire Futuris Group for approximately $360 million, including assumption of $18 million net debt. Futuris is a global designer and manufacturer of automotive seating and interior systems.

Futuris Group completed the acquisition of Kongsberg Automotive's North American headrest and armrest business, expanding its North American manufacturing footprint and product portfolio.
