Stantec was selected by the New York City Department of Environmental Protection to deliver design services during construction through project closeout for upgrades to the Wards Island Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Bluewater Bio Limited has been awarded a contract by Severn Trent Water to provide a FilterClear tertiary solids removal plant at Newent WWTW in Gloucestershire, UK. The contract includes design, manufacture, supply, installation and commissioning, with delivery scheduled for June 2019.

Red River Biosolids Partners, a joint venture of Aecon, MWH Constructors, and Oscar Renda Contracting of Canada, has been awarded an approximately $815 million CAD contract by the City of Winnipeg for the North End Water Pollution Control Centre biosolids facilities upgrade.

Bluewater Bio Limited has been awarded a contract by Severn Trent Water to provide a FilterClear tertiary solids removal plant at Brockhampton STW in Gloucestershire, UK, to achieve a phosphorus consent of 0.25 mg/l. Delivery is scheduled for May 2018.

Stantec signed an agreement to sell its software business Innovyze, a provider of wet infrastructure modeling and simulation software, to EQT Mid Market US fund for USD 270 million. The sale is expected to close in Q2 2017.
