Knauf GIPS

Knauf Gips plans to invest around EUR 70 million in a gypsum wallboard plant at Gatovo near Minsk, Belarus. The plant will produce 30 Mm2/yr of gypsum wallboard, 0.5 Mm2/yr of gypsum partition blocks, and 0.1 Mt/yr of dry building mixtures.

The Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia approved Knauf GIPS LLC's purchase of a 50% stake in VOLMA Corporation, a major Russian producer of building and finishing materials.
