Röchling Automotive

Röchling Automotive has been awarded a contract to produce an Intrusion Protection Plate for an entire platform of a major European OEM, starting in 2027. The component will be used in several electric vehicle models.

Röchling Automotive is to sell its production facility in Wolfsburg-Hattorf, Germany, to Kasai Kogyo.

German automotive supplier Röchling Automotive has opened a new factory in Teruel, Spain, with an investment of 16 million euros (USD 19.1 million). The 40,000-square-meter plant produces plastic parts for the automotive industry, supplying Ford's Valencia factory, and is expected to reach full capacity in 2019.

Röchling Automotive opened a new production hall at its Peine site for manufacturing plastic automotive components. Together with a logistics hall opened last year, the company invested €13.6 million at the site.
