Boels Rental, a European equipment rental company, acquired Abird, an industrial equipment provider in the Benelux and Germany, from private equity investor NPM. The acquisition strengthens Boels' position in the industrial sector.

NPM (formerly Novosibirskprodmash) will invest 1.5 billion rubles to build a second production phase of 36,000 sq m in Novosibirsk, expanding its food processing equipment manufacturing capacity.
