GTA Semiconductor, a subsidiary of China Electronics Corporation, is acquiring Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation Limited (ASMC) by merger for approximately HK$2.3 billion. ASMC's H-shares will be delisted from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 25 January 2019.

GTA Semiconductor Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Electronics Corporation, started construction of a specialty process production line in Shanghai Lingang. The project involves a total investment of CNY 35.9 billion and aims to build an 8-inch line with 60,000 wafers/month capacity and a 12-inch line with 50,000 wafers/month capacity.

Huada Electronics, a unit of China Electronics Corporation Holdings, has entered into a sale and purchase agreement with Huada Beidou to sell its navigation chips business for 100 million yuan.
