Murphy has acquired Carillion's UK power framework business for an undisclosed sum, taking over Carillion's position on National Grid contracts and becoming a joint venture partner with Eltel.

Winn and Coales (Denso) Ltd supplied over 15,000 linear metres of Densostrip and other products to a consortium building the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route, a £750 million road project.

Keyline secured a £15m contract as sole supply merchant for all building and civil engineering materials to the A14 integrated delivery team, a joint venture of Costain, Skanska, Balfour Beatty and Carillion, for the £1.5bn road improvement project.

Al Futtaim Carillion, a venture 51% owned by Al Futtaim and 49% by Carillion, was selected as main contractor for a $600 million project to develop three districts of the Dubai Expo 2020 site, housing up to 136 pavilions.
