Pexco

Pexco LLC, a North American specialty plastics extruder, acquired Exlon Extrusion, Inc., a precision extruder of plastic tubing based in Greensboro, NC.

Pexco LLC acquired American Extruded Plastics, Inc. (AEP) and American Injection Molding, Inc. (AIM), both operating in Greensboro, NC, expanding its custom plastics capabilities.

Pexco LLC acquired tubing extruder Insultab, its second acquisition since being spun off from Spectrum Plastics Group.

Pexco, a custom industrial extrusion company, acquired Custom Extrusion Inc. (CEI), a Massachusetts-based profile extruder with plants in Sheffield, MA and Asheboro, NC. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Kohlberg & Company closed the acquisition of Pexco and merged it with PPC Industries (including Kelpac Medical) to form The Spectrum Plastics Group, a medical device plastics supplier with 20 plants across five countries and three continents.

Kohlberg & Company has announced the intent to acquire Pexco LLC and merge it with PPC Industries, Inc., creating a combined medical plastics business.
