Wolseley is set to complete the acquisition of Kooltech after agreeing to sell Kooltech’s Aberdeen branch.

Wolseley Climate and Friga-Bohn (part of Lennox EMEA) signed an agreement to boost growth in customized and semi-customized refrigeration solutions for the industrial segment in the UK.

Wolseley Group agreed to buy Glasgow-based AC and refrigeration distributor Kooltech. The deal is expected to complete in mid-2023, with Kooltech operating as a standalone business under existing management.

Wolseley, a plumbing and HVAC distributor, acquired Amre Supply, a national supplier based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Vp plc has agreed to acquire Brandon Hire Group from Wolseley Group for £41.6 million (€47.12 million), plus assuming net debt of £27.2 million. Brandon Hire is a tool and equipment rental company with 143 locations and over 900 employees in the UK.

Wasco, a Wolseley subsidiary and Dutch HVACR distributor, acquired Rotterdam-based air conditioning and refrigeration accessory supplier Aircovent. Aircovent will continue to operate under its own name.

Wolseley signed an agreement to merge its Swiss plumbing and heating business Tobler with Swiss HVAC distributor Walter Meier AG. Wolseley will receive CHF 117.8 million cash and a 39.2% stake in the combined entity.
