Flowtech Fluidpower plc is acquiring the business and assets of Helipebs Controls Ltd, a Gloucester-based manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders and systems, for £0.4 million funded from cash resources.
Flowtech Fluidpower has become the first UK wholesale distributor for SMC Corporation (UK), giving customers access to a wide range of SMC standard fluid control and automation parts shipped from Flowtech's Skelmersdale facility.
Flowtech Fluidpower completed its £10.2m acquisition of Balu Ltd and its subsidiaries Beaumanor and Derek Lane, UK fluid power importers and distributors, funded by a share placing raising £11m. The deal was completed on 20 March 2018.
Flowtech Fluidpower plc acquired Group HES Ltd, a Gloucester-based fluid power solutions provider with branches in Birmingham, Durham, Gloucester and Leeds, adding it to its Power Motion Control division. The deal was announced on 12 October 2017.
