Clariant International Ltd.

Clariant International Ltd. formed a strategic partnership with Chinese BOPP film manufacturer Gettel High-Tech Materials Co. Ltd. to supply additives and liquid feeding technology for all of Gettel's production lines.

Dongguan Grand Resource Science & Technology Co. Ltd. (DGRST) awarded a joint contract to CB&I and Clariant International Ltd. to provide licensing and engineering design for a grassroots propane dehydrogenation (PDH) unit in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, China. The unit will produce 600,000 tonnes/year of propylene.

Clariant International is expanding its plant in Lewiston, Maine, by installing a new compounding line for pre-colored medical plastic compounds under the Mevopur brand. The new capacity will come online in the fourth quarter of 2017, with an investment of a few million dollars.
