BBI Group signs $4.6B MOU with CSCEC for Pilbara mine, port and rail project
BBI Group (BBIG) signed a memorandum of understanding with China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) to develop a A$6 billion (US$4.6 billion) mining infrastructure project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, including a mine, port and rail. The project is expected to create 3,300 construction jobs from 2018 and 900 permanent positions.

BBI Group will centralize its operations to a new global headquarters at Border Technology Park in Crumlin, Wales, as part of an £8.5 million investment supported by a £1.8 million Welsh Government grant. The company's Welsh workforce will increase from 180 to 366 by 2020.
