Hirschvogel

Walor International S.A.S., part of the FerrAl United Group controlled by Mutares, completed the acquisition of Hirschvogel Incorporated from Hirschvogel Holding GmbH. The company, based in Columbus, Ohio, will be renamed Walor North America Inc.

Hirschvogel Components began construction of a new automotive forging components plant in San Juan del Río, Querétaro, Mexico, with a $30 million investment. The plant is expected to create 240 jobs initially, with a target of 700, and reach a production capacity of 5 million parts by 2018.
