Investment firm KKR will acquire Magneti Marelli from Fiat Chrysler for $7.1 billion and merge it with its portfolio company Calsonic Kansei.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has agreed to sell its automotive components business Magneti Marelli to CK Holdings, the holding company of Calsonic Kansei, for EUR 6.2 billion, creating the 7th largest global independent automotive components supplier.
