Datwyler Sealing Solutions is preparing to start production of pharmaceutical rubber components at a new facility on its Satara site in Pune, India. Production is scheduled to start in Q2 2018, increasing manufacturing volume to five billion components per year and more than doubling production area to 58,000 sq. feet.

Dätwyler Sealing Solutions announced the construction of its first U.S. First Line production facility in Middletown, Delaware. The $100 million plant will produce elastomer components for injectable drug-delivery systems and is expected to be fully operational in Q4 2018.

Datwyler Sealing Solutions broke ground on a new facility in Middletown, DE, to produce specialty coated rubber components for drug-delivery devices, including the Omniflex family of vial and syringe components. The plant will employ lean-manufacturing and zero-defect philosophies.
