Illinois Tool Works

Illinois Tool Works Inc. has agreed to acquire MTS Systems Corporation's Test & Simulation business from Amphenol Corporation, following Amphenol's acquisition of MTS. The deal value was not disclosed.

Johns Manville, a Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary, agreed to acquire ITW Insulation Systems from Illinois Tool Works for an undisclosed price. ITW Insulation Systems has four manufacturing plants in the US and Canada and employs 100 people.

System Logistics, a Krones Group company, acquired the Vertique business from Illinois Tool Works Inc. through its US subsidiary System Logistics Corporation. Vertique, based in Arden, North Carolina, provides warehouse automation solutions for the food and beverage market.
