AZZ Inc acquired all assets of Preferred Industries, a powder and e-coating service company with facilities in Rowlett and Terrell, Texas. The terms were not disclosed.

Avail Infrastructure Solutions (AVAIL) entered a definitive agreement to sell its Electrical Products Group to nVent Electric plc for $975 million, with the transaction expected to close in the first half of 2025.

AZZ Inc. was awarded a $50 million contract by Three Gorges Jinsha River Yunchuan Hydropower Development Co., Ltd. to provide 16,850 meters of 550kV Gas Insulated Line for the Baihetan hydropower plant in China. Delivery is scheduled from second half 2019 to Q3 2020.

AZZ Inc. was awarded contracts from SDEE Hitachi High Voltage Switchgear and Pinggao Group to produce approximately 7,431 meters of Ultra High Voltage 1100kV Gas Insulated Line for the Cross Yangtze River Sutong Underground Tunnel Project. The total value is estimated at greater than $40 million USD, with delivery scheduled to begin late 2018.

AZZ Inc. was awarded contracts from SDEE Hitachi High Voltage Switchgear and Pinggao Group to produce 7,431 meters of Ultra High Voltage 1100kV Gas Insulated Line for the Cross Yangtze River Sutong Underground Tunnel Project, valued at over $40 million.

AZZ Inc. acquired all assets and outstanding shares of Powergrid Solutions Inc., a Wisconsin-based designer and manufacturer of low and medium-voltage power quality, power generation and distribution equipment. Terms were not disclosed.

AZZ Inc has been awarded a $27 million contract from China Three Gorges Corporation to supply six circuits of 550 kV gas insulated line for the 10,200 MW Wudongde hydroelectric dam project in southwest China.

Westinghouse Electric Company transitioned its planned acquisition of Nuclear Logistics LLC to a teaming agreement with AZZ Inc. to jointly market safety-related equipment solutions to the nuclear industry.
