Mitsubishi Rayon Carbon Fibers & Composites

Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings will acquire a 1,000 t/y carbon fiber plant in Evanston, Wyoming, from SGL Carbon. The transaction, worth several billion yen, will be concluded by Mitsubishi Rayon's US subsidiary and is due to be completed in April 2017.
