MWM implemented a second shift at its generator production line in São Paulo, Brazil, to meet market demand, and expanded its portfolio with new natural gas and biogas generator groups.

MKS Group plans to build a plant for block-modular gas piston power stations in the Malaya Sosnovka industrial park near Chelyabinsk, Russia, with an investment of 202 million rubles. The project will create over 60 jobs and is expected to be completed by end of 2020.

MWM announced the launch of its own line of power generators, produced at its factory in Santo Amaro, São Paulo, with an investment of about R$ 20 million. Initial production capacity is 4,000 units per year, with 600 units planned for 2019 and 1,400 for 2020.

MWM distributor Intergen installed a new TCG 2020 V16 gas engine at cheese maker IGOR in Cameri, Italy, expanding the existing CHP plant. The unit has 2,000 kW electrical output.

Edina has been awarded a contract by E.ON to supply and install a 2MWe gas-fired combined heat and power (CHP) plant at the Cranbrook Energy Centre in east Devon, UK. The plant will use an MWM TCG 2020 V20 gas engine.

Edina was awarded a contract to supply and install two MWM natural gas reciprocating engines for the new Gateshead District Energy Centre, which will generate lower-carbon energy for up to 350 homes and businesses via a 2.5km underground network.

Edina Group has won a contract to supply and install a 1200kWe CHP plant at a global food and pharmaceutical ingredient manufacturer's production centre in Menstrie, Scotland.
