Central Puerto

Central Puerto initiated a project to convert the Brigadier López open cycle thermoelectric plant in Sauce Viejo, Santa Fe, Argentina, into a combined cycle with an estimated investment of US$150 million. The conversion will add 140 MW of capacity, bringing total output to 432 MW, and create over 130 jobs.

Nordex Group was awarded two contracts to build wind farms with a combined capacity of 148 MW in Argentina for customer Central Puerto, marking its entry into the Latin American market.
