Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V. (FCA) has acquired certain assets from Vari-Form Inc., a hydroforming company based in Strathroy, Ontario. The transaction was announced on May 2, 2019.

Renault and Nissan established a new research and development joint venture called Alliance Innovation Lab Shanghai (AIL-SH) in Shanghai, China, focusing on autonomous drive, connected and electric vehicles. Each holds a 50% share.

Brilliance China Automotive Holdings Ltd. and Renault have signed a joint venture contract to form Huachen Renault Jinbei Automotive Co., Ltd., based in Shenyang. The JV aims to revive the Jinbei brand and produce Renault light commercial vehicles in China by 2020, targeting annual sales of 150,000 vehicles by 2022.

Renault and Peugeot plan to increase orders from struggling auto component maker GM&S Industry to raise its turnover to around EUR25 million.

Renault and GCR (via CISCAR) would take stakes of 23.5% and 11.5% respectively in EXADIS, a spare parts platform in France, as part of a strategic partnership with the Laurent group.
