Venture Plastics was awarded a contract to mold the plastic trunk finisher that protects the latch mechanism of the 2019 Nissan Altima. The contract drove the company's expansion in Newton Falls, Ohio.

Calsonic Kansei, a supplier to Nissan's Canton, Mississippi plant, expanded in Madison County, Mississippi with a $16.33 million investment that creates 98 new jobs. It leased and upfitted a former warehouse in Gluckstadt, and manufacturing began in May 2017.
