DONG Energy signed a multi-million pound contract with Bladt Industries for 96 transition pieces for the Hornsea Project One offshore windfarm. 56 will be manufactured at the OSB facility in Teesside, UK, and 40 at Bladt's facility in Aalborg, Denmark.

GSG Towers signs $30M contract for Hornsea offshore wind substation
GSG Towers, part of the Gdańsk Shipyard Group, signed a contract with Bladt Industries to build three halves of an offshore substation for the Hornsea offshore wind farm. The contract is worth 30 million PLN and work started in December 2016, lasting until at least February 2017.
