ZTE won the bid for three networks in True's beyond-100G backbone WDM network project in Thailand, gaining about 75% project share, to build a large-capacity backbone DWDM network.

ZTE's chip design division licensed Arteris Ncore cache coherent interconnect IP and FlexNoC interconnect IP for use in advanced systems-on-chip.

ZTE, through its wholly-owned subsidiary ZTE Cooperatief U.A., signed an equity purchase agreement on December 6, 2016, to acquire a 48.04% stake in Netas from OEP Turkey Tech B.V. for up to $101,280,539. ZTE will become the largest shareholder.
