UTC Climate, Controls & Security

United Technologies opened the UTC Center for Intelligent Buildings in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, a state-of-the-art innovation center and global headquarters for UTC Climate, Controls & Security. The building houses 500 employees and plans to create 100 additional jobs.

UTC Climate, Controls & Security, which includes Carrier's air conditioning business, completed the acquisition of EcoEnergy, the energy services business of Indian IT company Wipro. EcoEnergy is based in Bengaluru and provides energy management solutions.

UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies, announced an agreement to acquire EcoEnergy, Wipro's energy services business division based in Bengaluru, India. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals.
