INEOS O&P USA

INEOS Enterprises agreed to acquire Ashland's composite resins business, including 20 manufacturing sites in Europe, North and South America, Asia and Middle East, employing 1,300 people. The deal is subject to regulatory approval.

INEOS Oxide plans to expand its ethylidene norbornene (ENB) plant in Antwerp, increasing capacity by 7,500 metric tons per year to 35,500 m.t./yr, with capacity available by the end of 2018.

WL Plastics, acquired by INEOS O&P USA in November 2016, opened its seventh production site in Statesboro, Georgia, USA. The $13 million factory produces high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipes for infrastructure and shale gas industry, creating 50 jobs. Production began in January 2017.

INEOS O&P USA acquired 100% of WLP Holding Corp., the parent of HDPE pipe manufacturer WL Plastics, which has facilities in Kentucky, South Dakota, Utah, Texas, Wyoming, and a plant under construction in Georgia. The purchase price was not disclosed.
