Metex Nøøvista signs exclusive PDO supply agreement with DSM
Metex Nøøvista signed an exclusive strategic agreement with DSM's Personal Care & Aroma division for the supply of PDO (propanediol) for the cosmetics industry, up to 5,000 tonnes per year. The PDO will be produced at Metex's new plant in Carling Saint-Avold, France, starting end of 2020.

METEX NØØVISTA selects De Smet Engineers for PDO/BA plant
METEX NØØVISTA, a subsidiary of METabolic EXplorer, has signed an EPCM contract with De Smet Engineers & Contractors for the construction of a 1,3-propanediol and butyric acid plant at the Carling St-Avold site in Moselle, France. The first 6-kt stage is expected to start construction before June 30, 2019, and be brought online in the second half of 2020.
