Element Solutions Inc, owner of MacDermid Alpha, will acquire Kester, a solder producer, from ITW effective December 2, 2019. The acquisition includes Kester facilities in the US, Germany and Singapore.

Hartness, an ITW company, will consolidate all its manufacturing into a renovated 234,000 sqft facility in Greenville, South Carolina in February 2019, replacing two existing buildings. The move centralizes sales, engineering, and manufacturing operations.
