Resolute Mining

Wärtsilä has received its first order for the Wärtsilä Modular Block solution from Aggreko, to provide 40 MW of power to Resolute Mining's Syama gold mine in Mali. The order was placed in November 2019.

Aggreko will provide a hybrid modular power station combining solar, battery and thermal generation for Resolute Mining's Syama gold mine in Mali, replacing the existing 28MW diesel plant. Stage 1 (30MW thermal + 10MW battery) targets completion in 2020; Stage 2 (additional 10MW thermal + 20MW solar) by 2023.

Sandvik is working with Resolute Mining to fully automate the Syama underground gold mine in Mali, West Africa, with equipment and systems scheduled for commissioning in 2018.

Resolute Mining and Sandvik established a strategic framework to fully automate the Syama underground gold mine in Mali, using Sandvik's AutoMine and OptiMine systems and a fleet of trucks and loaders. The $95 million underground development is scheduled for first ore in 2018.

Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology has signed a strategic framework agreement with Resolute Mining to fully automate the Syama gold mine in Mali. Sandvik will deliver AutoMine and OptiMine systems and a fleet of equipment. The system is scheduled for commissioning in late 2018.
