Heinola Sawmill Machinery Inc. has received an order from IKEA for two large automatic 2-zone progressive kilns with annual capacity of about 55,000 cubic metres. The kilns will be installed at IKEA's production plant in Stalowa Wola, Poland, and taken into production in early 2019.

Canam Group Inc. won a contract to supply steel joists and other components for Ikea's new 1 million sq. ft. distribution centre in Beauharnois, Quebec, and a new store in Quebec City. Deliveries for the warehouse start December 2017 and run through March 2018.

Pennar Industries won contracts worth Rs 255 crore across its business units, including orders for module mounting structures from Adani Power, Larsen & Toubro, and others, as well as orders for under frames, building systems, and hydraulic cylinders.

Ikea acquired a 15 percent minority stake in Morssinkhof Rymoplast Group, a Dutch plastic recycling company, as part of its 1 billion euro budget for sustainable materials. Morssinkhof Rymoplast has processing capacity of 200,000 metric tons.
