OnRobot

OnRobot A/S has acquired Purple Robotics, a Danish developer of the world's first dual vacuum gripper specifically for cobots. The acquisition adds Purple Robotics' technology to OnRobot's product mix.

Three end-of-arm tooling companies have merged to form a new company called OnRobot, backed by the Danish Growth Fund and former Universal Robots CEO Enrico Krog Iversen.

Three end-of-arm tooling companies—US-based Perception Robotics, Hungary-based OptoForce, and Denmark-based On Robot—merged to form OnRobot, headquartered in Denmark. The new company aims to become a world leader in robotic end-of-arm tooling.
