BBS Automation has acquired China-based ReaLead, Italy-based Team S.r.l. (now BBS Winding S.r.l.), and Poland-based ANT Sp. z o.o. to expand its automation solutions and industrial software capabilities. The acquisitions closed in 2018 and 2019.

BBS Automation completed a EUR 140 million refinancing of its existing working capital and guarantee facility to support organic growth and further consolidation.

BBS Automation, an EQT portfolio company, has acquired ReaLead, a Chinese automation solutions provider based in Kunshan, China. ReaLead has approximately 150 employees and serves Western and Chinese customers in die casting, electric vehicle parts, and 5G telecommunications.

EQT Mid Market Europe has acquired BBS Automation, a provider of automation solutions for manufacturing and testing processes. The co-founders will continue to lead the company and remain invested.
