British Steel has secured its largest ever order for 244,000 rail sleepers, totaling over 20,000 tonnes of steel, for a mine in Guinea. The client is Guinea Bauxite Company, with delivery over the next year.

Pandrol Rahee Technologies, a joint venture between Pandrol and Rahee Group, opened a new 3,500 m² rail fastening production plant in Hyderabad, India. The facility includes an automated clip forming line and is expected to produce 4 million clips per year.

Pandrol secured a contract to manufacture FC-16 fastenings for the Shanxi Jingshen Railway Company, covering 232 km of track between Menghua and Central China, involving almost 880,000 fastening rail sets.
